Lost Garden Wedding Band

My husband and I were married in April 1989 and 6 months later he noticed that he had misplaced his gold wedding band. Thinking it may have come off playing golf but then came to the realisation that probably came off while digging in the vegetable garden at the back of our section. The area was searched and searched but we never found it. Another ring was then purchased. Nineteen and a half years later when we were about to move house and while doing the general tidy up 2 days before leaving, our daughter was helping my husband clear the vegetable garden. To the amazement of them the wedding band was found. This garden had been dug over many times, dirt removed and compost added during all those years. The ring was still in great condition other than being a little discoloured. Plans are to one day have this ring added into bands for each our of 3 daughters.
