💎💎💎 ELOISE 1950s 💎💎💎 Meet Eloise. She’s a strong and mischievous woman, cut from the same cloth as Marilyn Monroe, who was also a lover of baguette diamonds.<br /> <br /> Jan, the designer and manufacturing jeweller of Eloise, was inspired by the 1950s trend of using different shaped side stones, as well as rails to pronounce those side stones and a strong design.<br /> <br /> The platinum ring with a 0.77ct Sirius Star 100 Brilliant Diamond, exclusive to Dalgleish Diamonds, with two baguette shoulder diamonds, has an element of surprise. When the ring is tilted to the side, the Sirius Star centre-stone shines through on to the side baguettes, creating an extra sparkle perfect for turning heads.<br /> <br /> Eloise is a dramatic, textured and extravagant design all about ultra-feminine glamour.<br /> <br /> Taranaki in the 50s: It’s boom time! As we approach Xmas we have turned our thoughts to our highlights from 2019. We start today with our lovely Bev. “Dalgleish is my happy place, I love people and jewellery. I have too many memories to only name one! I love helping people make special memories for the important times in their lives. I enjoy doing the secret squirrel stuff, and being part of people’s adventures, and then seeing the surprise at the end. Working with people who are so unsure about what they want at the beginning, but by the time I have got to know them, learn their personalities and then to see them over the moon at the end of the process is priceless. <br /> I have loved being part of the redevelopment of Dalgleish Diamonds this year, and watching the work and dedication of getting the ‘Decades’ collection was very special. 💎 RITA 1940s 💎<br /> <br /> Rita is designed to show off the diamond and, just like the women of the 1940s, she’s the perfect blend of style and substance.<br /> <br /> Coming out of the Great Depression and another World War, this decade was dominated by a contrast of both glamour and diamonds and the thought of not being too showy in an age of austerity. However, in 1947, the four words “A diamond is forever”, used in a De Beers Diamond Company advertising campaign, suddenly convinced women the world over that they needed a diamond engagement ring.<br /> <br /> Rita, designed and made by Bill, our Manufacturing Goldsmith, is an 18ct yellow gold and white gold 0.402ct brilliant cut diamond with eight brilliant cut diamonds on the shoulders. 💎MARLENE 1930s💎<br /> <br /> Introducing Marlene. She’s feminine, fun and bold.<br /> <br /> Named after Marlene Dietrich, the German 1930s icon, this ring is aptly designed and crafted by Kati, our Goldsmith.<br /> <br /> The 1930s represented a change in the role of femininity, where suits and top hats made the cut of fashion. Hollywood glamour reached a new peak with stars donning bold, vibrant pieces.<br /> <br /> This platinum and diamond ring with a 0.61ct centre stone surrounded by 50 diamonds, was inspired by an art deco geometric style.
